If you haven't been to "Oustide the Wire" and read the blog or watched the videos, you might be behind a little bit in what's going.
J.D. Joahannes from Outside the Wire provides video from a recent fire fight.
Joahannes is currently in Iraq shooting video and writing about his experiences. Keep an eye out on his site. Also, I recommend his first video, Outside the Wire. I bought it and it was very interesting.
He also points to the site of a "combat artist", Steve Mumford. A "combat artist" is someone that draws and/or paints pictures of "combat" or other activities "in theater". There are some great images of both peace and war in Iraq.

Soldiers' Angels: Adopt a Soldier
Soldiers' Angels is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that supports our current and veteran service members with a number of programs including adopting soldiers for care packages and letters around the world, transitional back packs for the wounded at hospitals in the US, Germany and in combat theaters, and VET Packs for our veterans at VA hospitals around the country.
We're looking for a few good people who will help us help those who have and continue to serve our nation and our people.
